As a journalist with a career covering Indigenous communities, I’ve seen how many stories are shaped by stereotypes, oversimplifications or a lack of cultural understanding. This often leads to coverage that misrepresents or harms the communities being reported on.

I offer media trainings designed to help journalists and organizations report accurately and respectfully in Indigenous communities. I also provide consulting services, helping teams create inclusive project plans and build meaningful partnerships with Native communities, Indigenous photographers, artists and writers.
